Dr. Parker's career in health began in public health nutrition. She worked in community health facilities helping populations improve their diet and health. She now assists students pursuing health careers in developing the competencies to be effective and successful health care providers. Dr. Parker is currently the Chairperson for the Health Education Program in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health.

Connie Christianson is the Program Manager for SABHCOP. She has worked at the University of Arizona in the Colleges of Medicine and Public Health for the past thirty years. Her educational background is in Social Services. She is proud to be a member of SABHCOP and to share her love of public health with students who may not know of the numerous health careers available to them.

Melissa received a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Arizona College of Public Health in 1998. She received the Certified Health Education Specialist certification in 1999. She has been teaching for the Health Education program since Fall 2000. Her current position entails writing curricula for all SABHCOP programs. She is also working towards a PhD in Family Studies and Human Development.

Erika recently completed her Bachelors of Science in Education from NAU in December 2004.   She plans to pursue her Master's degree beginning in the fall of 2005.  She has worked with high school students since 1997 where she was a coach for Rio Rico High School. She has also worked in the medical field since 1996 as an Emergency Room Technician and Licensed Practical Nurse.

Miguel obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona on December 2001 with a concentration in Community Health Education. He is now enrolled in the Masters in Public Health Program at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman Arizona College of Public Health. He will be starting his second year of graduate school and expects to obtain a Masters degree in Health Education and Behavioral Sciences by May 2005.

Olivia recently graduated this past May 2004 from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Community Health Education.  She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and currently works as a Health Educator for the SABHCOP program at the University of Arizona.
