SABHCOP assists in preparing students for entry into a variety of health care fields such as medicine, pharmacy, public health, radiology, clinical laboratory science, physician assistant, nursing assistant, emergency medical technician, and other health related careers.

Be a part of SABHCOP throughout your entire academic career.  We offer a wide array of programs and activities for middle school, high school, and college students.  Wherever you go, whatever grade you're in, take SABHCOP with you!

Destination 1 -- Middle School
Check out SABHCOP for fun stuff like field trips, summer camps, real heart and eye dissections, and how math works in medicine, as well as learn more about what you want to be when you grow up.


Destination 2 -- High School

Thinking about what you want to do for the rest of your life?  SABCHOP can help you figure that out with hands-on health activities, workshops, career field trips, and community health projects.  Along the way, SABHCOP can help you get scholarships/financial aid assistance for college and tutoring support.

Destination 3 -- College
We can help you with all of the choices you have to make in college. From paying for college to preparing for class, SABHCOP will assist you every step of the way. Here is a selection of some of the other ways SABHCOP can help you:

  • financial aid advising
  • tutoring and workshops
  • participating in community service activities
  • providing speakers, a library, and information on graduate preparatory exams
  • conducting mock interviews
  • enabling hands-on experience through FACES internships, the Minority Medical Education Program (MMEP), and the Pre-Health Professional Research and Education Program (PREP)
